BIOGRAPHY
Tsai-Wei Li is a winner of multiple contests in her native country of Taiwan, including the University of Taipei Concerto Competition, as well as the Taipei and the Keelung National Music Competitions. In the US, Tsai-Wei won the competitions of Georgia Music Teacher Association, Atlanta Music club, and Atlanta Reginal Osaka International competition. Tsai-Wei was recently invited to perform at Steinway Hall in New York City.
Tsai-Wei has had numerous concerto experiences with orchestra. She has won the University of Georgia Concerto Competition and performed Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 3 with its orchestra, Lee University Concerto Competition and received the competitive Dean’s Award as well as the opportunity to perform an Honors Recital at Georgia State University. Tsai-Wei was selected and invited to be a soloist for five performances with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and had previously performed Shostakovich’s First Piano Concerto with the University of Taipei Orchestra and Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto with the Lee University Orchestra.
Tsai-Wei has participated in the International Keyboard Institute Festival in New York City, the International Piano Festival of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, and, most recently, the Miami Music Festival in Florida. She has worked in masterclasses with distinguished artists including Boris Slutsky, Alon Goldstein, Alexandre Moutouzkine, Natalya Antonova, Ching-Yun Hu, Chun-Chieh Yen, Peter Takacs, Marina Lomazov, Yakov Kasman, Francesco Monopoli, Alexander Kobrin, Jerome Rose, Victor Rosebaum, Nina Tichman, Ming-Qiang Li, Michael Oelbaum, Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri, Gesa Luecker and Gabriele Leporatti.
In addition, Tsai-Wei has worked as a pianist for multiple ensembles and choirs including Hodgson Singers, Rote Hund contemporary ensemble, UGA University Chorus, and Lee University Chorale. Tsai-Wei also served a staff collaborative pianist at the University of North Georgia.

Tsai-Wei holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Taipei and a master’s degree from Lee University where she was a full-scholarship recipient of Musicianship, Dean’s Music, and Asian Pacific awards. She earned an Artist Certificate from Georgia State University as a graduate teaching assistant. Her principal professors have been Chin-Chuan Chang, Hui-Chi Liu, Ning An, Cahill Smith, and Raffi Besalyan. Tsai-Wei is currently a doctoral student in piano performance at the University of Georgia working with Dr. Liza Stepanova. She is minoring in Piano Pedagogy and was awarded a full graduate teaching assistantship. Tsai-Wei is currently a full-time piano teacher at Buford City Schools.
